Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 May 2026
This page explains how electricpoint.help, operated by Electric Point Events Sdn. Bhd., uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works similarly but stays in the browser rather than being sent with every request. Both help websites remember who you are and what you chose.
What we actually use
This site is deliberately light on tracking. In full, we use:
Strictly necessary — session cookie
When you open our contact form, PHP sets a session cookie (typically named PHPSESSID). It exists to protect the form against cross-site request forgery and expires when you close your browser. The site cannot function securely without it, so it does not require consent.
Preference — consent choice
When you press Accept or Reject on our cookie banner, we record that choice in your browser's local storage under the key epCookiePrefs. This is how we avoid asking you again on every visit. It contains only the word "all" or "none" — nothing about you.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or social media pixels, and we do not fingerprint devices. If that changes, this policy and the consent banner will be updated before anything new is set.
Managing your choice
You can reopen the cookie preferences at any time using the gear button in the lower-left corner of any page and change your selection. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings — instructions vary by browser and are available in its help section.
Third-party content
Our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests are served by Google's servers and are subject to Google's own privacy terms; they do not set cookies on this site.
