Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 May 2026

Electric Point Events Sdn. Bhd. ("ElectricPoint", "we", "us") operates the website electricpoint.help. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data we collect

When you submit our contact form we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given), the type of event you are enquiring about and the content of your message. If you contact us by phone or email, we keep a record of that correspondence.

Our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data in server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security monitoring and capacity planning.

2. How we use your data

We use enquiry details solely to respond to you, prepare proposals and manage event projects you engage us for. We use server logs to keep the site secure and reliable. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making.

3. Legal basis and consent

By submitting an enquiry you consent to our processing of the data you provide for the purposes above. Where we process data to perform a contract with you (for example, producing your event), that contract is the basis for processing.

4. Sharing and disclosure

Personal data may be shared with service providers who support our operations — such as our email and hosting providers — strictly for the purposes described here, and with authorities where the law requires disclosure. Suppliers engaged on your event receive only the details necessary to deliver their part of the production.

5. Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months from the last contact, after which they are deleted. Records connected to a contracted event are retained for seven years to meet accounting and legal obligations, then destroyed.

6. Security

We restrict access to personal data to staff who need it, protect our systems with authentication and encryption in transit, and require equivalent care from processors acting for us. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further processing. Write to [email protected] or to our registered office at Level 12, Wisma Cempaka, 16 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We respond to verified requests within twenty-one days.

8. Cookies

Details of the cookies used on this site are set out separately in our Cookie Policy.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the site.

10. Contact
